Youth Justice Advisory Committee (YJAC) EOI open now

Published

Are you passionate about shaping the future of youth justice in the Northern Territory?

The Youth Justice Advisory Committee (YJAC) is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) for new members. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical decision-making and policy advising under the Youth Justice Act 2005. YJAC’s work is essential in monitoring, evaluating, and guiding the administration of youth justice laws and policies.

The committee is especially seeking an Aboriginal representative, a young person under 25, someone with lived experience in the youth justice system, or a representative from a remote community. If you meet these criteria and are committed to positively impacting youth justice, consider applying. All applicants must be Northern Territory residents.

EOIs close on 11 November 2024. Learn more in the YJAC Annual Report (2023-2024) PDF (9.7 MB) and apply today to help make a difference.
