Aboriginal Interpreter Service rebrand

Aboriginal Interpreter Service (AIS) staff.

In early 2020 the Aboriginal Interpreter Service (AIS) updated and refreshed their visual brand and uniforms. The previous brand, which was well regarded by AIS staff, was developed 10 years ago.

In consultation with AIS staff, a local Aboriginal graphic design company was engaged to develop the new brand. Significantly the dots in the artwork are representative of the southern region and the cross-hatching represents the northern part of the Territory.

The new brand reflects a change in the organisation which is growing to meet the demands of the Northern Territory Government’s commitment to local decision making and represents a contemporary look and feel that can be used well into the future.

The updated brand and uniforms will help build on the existing awareness and recognition the AIS has throughout the Territory.

AIS staff have embraced the new brand and uniforms, with both sure to become a permanent fixture for years to come.
