Harmony Grants 2022 – 23 are open

Harmony Grants 2022-23 are currently open for applications.

Grants of up to $1000 are available to schools and eligible community organisations in the Northern Territory for projects, events and activities to share and celebrate our multicultural diversity.

Migrant and multicultural community organisations planning to participate through the community cultural stall and/or performance in the Darwin Waterfront Harmony Soiree scheduled for 27 May 2023 are also encouraged to apply.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Applications must be made through GrantsNT.

Expressions of Interest to participate in the Harmony Soiree (no funding required)

If your migrant and multicultural organisation would like to participate in the Darwin Waterfront Harmony Soiree on 27 May 2023 through a community stall and performance, but do not require funding you can apply to participate through an Expression of Interest (EOI).

If you are a migrant and multicultural community organisation, you can also apply for an EOI to have a food stall. For EOI forms and more information, visit: Multicultural events - NT.GOV.AU.

GrantsNT Acquittals

It is important for your organisation to submit any previous grant acquittals that are outstanding, particularly if your organisation is applying for further grants via GrantsNT.

To do this, please log into GrantsNT change your profile to view the organisation profile, click on the acquittals page and submit any acquittals that may be outstanding.

Updates to contacts in multicultural community associations

If there have been changes to committee members in your multicultural community association, please advise the Office of Multicultural Affairs by emailing the updated contact details to TFHC.MulticulturalAffairs@nt.gov.au

Note: Please create and send an organisational generic email wherever possible. This will help you to keep your confidentiality.

October Business Month 2022 – International Series

The October Business Month International Series showcases a range international engagement and trade opportunities to support businesses in the Northern Territory.

Businesses seeking to learn more about international engagement, or opportunities for import/export trade opportunities can meet with key organisations such as DFAT, Austrade, the International Business Council, the Australian Indonesian Business Council and the Consulate General for Timor-Leste, just to name a few.

For upcoming multicultural events, please check the Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory (MCNT) website - mcnt.org.au/whats-on.

If you are organising an event in the near future and would like it included on the MCNT’s website, please email MCNT at events@mcnt.org.au or phone 08 8945 9122. If your event date is different than the one on the website this can also be amended by the MCNT team.
