Office of Multicultural Affairs

The Office of Multicultural Affairs coordinates services and activities across government for the multicultural community; works in partnership with stakeholders to develop initiatives that support and promote multicultural community participation and facilitates the contribution of multicultural groups to government decision making.

The cultural and linguistic diversity of the Northern Territory (NT) is recognised, celebrated and supported through a number of services provided by the Office of Multicultural Affairs as well as through engagement with the community.

The office assists migrant and multicultural communities and promotes cultural and linguistic diversity in our multicultural society by providing:

  • a range of grant programs
  • information through fact sheets, newsletters and other publications.
