NT Sports Awards Non-nominated Awards

Recommendations for the non-nominated award categories can be submitted throughout the year.

It is important to ensure that candidates being recommended for consideration for the Hall of Champions, Roll of Honour and Steve Abala Role Model Award meet the criteria .

To submit a recommendation, complete the Non-nominated Awards recommendation form DOCX (67.3 KB) and send to sporting.events@nt.gov.au.

Important Note

Names of people put forward will be placed into the Department’s database, assessed against the relevant category criteria and, where warranted, be recommended for further research and progression in the selection process.

Please note, it does not guarantee that all names put forward will:

1. be recommended for further research
2. receive an award.

Also note that the Department is seeking a pool of names in each category that could be acknowledged up to 5 years into the future.
