Amber Shepherd

Amber has a passion for art, and is deeply committed to her community and creating safe environments for young people. As a vocal advocate for housing and homelessness issues in the Territory, she reflects a deep understanding of her interconnection with community.

Amber is a natural, compassionate and pragmatic leader, committed to making a lasting impact. Her involvement in event design and coordination not only displays artistic talents but also emphasizes creating spaces for community support. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, shooting and painting, as well as caring for country.

Amber's experience offers a unique perspective on the challenges faced by young people. As a champion for change, she stands as an inspiration for young people in the Bagot Community and throughout the Territory. Amber’s creative and determined mindset will equip her perfectly to represent her peers as a 2024 NT Youth Week Ambassador.
