2020 NT Youth Round Table biography - Alexsandra Thorogood

Alexsandra is a creative, confident and insightful young woman of Alice Springs. Growing up in Alice Springs, Alexsandra enjoys helping the town, helping her friends, photography, learning new things and wants to make a difference. Alexsandra has been part of various initiatives such as the Youth Action Group, Duke of Ed and cleaning up Todd River with Upper Todd Landcare.

Alexsandra’s vision for young Territorians is for young people to show themselves in their way, for there to be no pressure, that young people are able to flourish in a non-discriminatory environment. Where young people are free from judgement and that there is a safe place for youth.
