2020 NT Youth Round Table biography - Melanie Gunner

Melanie is a born and bred Territorian of Alice Springs. She has been in a variety of leadership roles that have included School Captain, Art Captain and Prefect.

Melanie has significant experiences in community engagement within her role at Headspace where she has coordinated and delivered various workshops for young people.

Combined with her commitments of supporting the community, Melanie is a carer for her brother and her mother. Melanie’s vision for young Territorians from an Alice Springs perspective is that young people have equal opportunity in education and for opportunities to be spread across the NT.
