2020 NT Youth Round Table biography - Paige Horrigan
"I joined the Youth Round Table for the opportunities it could provide me. The opportunity to represent the queer youth of the NT, the opportunity to grow as a leader, and the opportunity to provide a voice for the youth of the Northern Territory".
Paige is a creative and eclectic young person who enjoys cooking, gaming, creativity, performing arts and cosplay.
Paige has been significantly involved in their community as a youth leader and advocate by providing the youth perspective during consultations for Palmerston Youth Forum, Student Voice Positive Choice and being elected as Campus Captain to ensure the Student voice is heard during school council meetings.
Paige’s vision for young Territorians is ‘to see literacy and numeracy skills increase, to change the narrative of perspective of youth and to have people no longer frowning on youth. Reduce the negative image of youth on social media.
