2021 NT Youth Round Table biography - Kyanna Murrungun

Kyanna is a young Aboriginal woman from Groote Eylandt, currently employed at South32 GEMCO as a trainee while completing a Certificate II in Business Administration.

Kyanna identifies herself as a leader and someone who can help young people in her community by giving them a voice. As a member of the Round Table, Kyanna hopes to gain experience in leadership, learn and expand on her knowledge and make connections with other young people from across the Territory.

Kyanna would like to see more support for young mums entering the workforce, as well as programs for young people affected by drug and alcohol misuse.
