2023 NT Youth Round Table biography - Sophia Rogers

Sophia is currently studying at senior school.

She has been based in Nhulunbuy for over seven years and loves the lifestyle and growing up amongst Yolngu culture. She has been on the Nhulunbuy Youth Council as Secretary for four years and is a volunteer dance instructor and dancer. She also works as a swim instructor and a lifeguard at the local pool. Sophia wants to work towards having a dedicated safe space for Youth to come together (Balanda and Yolngu) for Nhulunbuy.
