2023 NT Youth Week Ambassador biography - Shanae Kuo

Shanae is a Darwin bred, born and raised young person of Chinese Timorese and Taiwanese background. She is a middle school science teacher and loves both being and working with young Territorians. She is the President of The GG (Good Games) Social Club and is active in community organisations such as LAUNCH, Charles Darwin University, City of Darwin and City of Palmerston. She was also a 2022 NT Youth Round Table member.

Shanae wants young people to have safe, drug and alcohol free, spaces to hang out and network freely. She also thinks young Territorians should be respected and recognised for the positive things they do. She believes that gaming is a great way to engage with youth in the NT, and actively advocates for opportunities in her community.
