2024 NT Youth Round Table biography - Janelle Wong

Janelle Wong embarks on her professional journey as a Darwin-born doctor at the Royal Darwin Hospital. Beyond her medical duties, she fervently advocates for youth empowerment across Australia by serving as the NT member of the National Office for Youth - Employment Youth Advisory Group, and a Headspace NT Youth Advisory Committee Member and Headspace Youth Ambassador. Her advocacy also extends to addressing healthcare access challenges in remote areas, reflecting her commitment to the well-being of young Territorians. Through her varied roles, Janelle combines her extensive medical expertise with advocacy to empower and support her community.
