2024 NT Youth Round Table biography - Lydia Budrikis

Lydia Budrikis is a senior student in Alice Springs, exemplifying leadership qualities in her position as Vice College Captain.

Lydia is an enthusiastic participant in the Desert Fiddle Club, contributing not only her musical talents but also sharing her knowledge of fiddle tunes. Her performances, featured at various events such as the Desert Festival and Top End Folk Festival in Merry River. Lydia’s involvement in netball and the Desert Fiddle Club demonstrates her active involvement in local community and highlights her dedication to sports, collaborative teamwork and music.

Having recently engaged in the Round Square International Conference in Kenya, Lydia brings a global perspective to her local ambitions. Lydia envisions positive change for young people in the Alice Springs region, focusing on enhancing access to mental health services, addressing environmental issues, and involving young people in caring for the environment.
