2024 NT Youth Round Table biography - Shane Presley

Shane Presley is a young Aboriginal Walpiri person from Tennant Creek and is currently studying a Certificate III in sports and recreation. In addition to his academic pursuits, Shane is a Community Coach at John Moriarty Football, highlighting his commitment to community engagement and sports leadership.

A dedicated member of the Barkly Youth Advisory Group, he ardently strives to enhance access to mentored employment pathways for fellow young Aboriginal Territorians in his region. Passionate about fostering a secure environment, Shane aspires to establish safe after-hours activities for the youth.

His presence on the Round Table provides a valuable platform for raising concerns and presenting innovative ideas to improve outcomes for young people in his community.
